Welcome Back Your Own Natural Collagen

Healthy young skin contains collagen that gives it volume, flexibility and strength. As part of the aging process, you own natural collagen breaks down, diminishing facial volume. This loss of elasticity and volume results in the wrinkles, facial lines and skin laxity that rob your skin of its youthful appearance. RADIESSE® wrinkle filler’s unique formulation stimulates collagenesis – the production of new collagen- which results in increased volume for natural looking wrinkle correction that may last a year or more in many patients. It’s also why more and more cosmetic surgeons, estheticians, and other medical professionals are choosing RADIESSE® wrinkle filler for long-lasting facial rejuvenation.

      The RADIESSE® Difference

      Radiesse Barrington IL
      • Stimulates the body’s own natural collagen production
      • Instantly corrects wrinkles
      • Results may last a year or more in many patients
      • FDA approved to enhance patient comfort with lidocaine mixing

In just one syringe, many patients can achieve long-lasting youthful results. Treatment with RADIESSE® wrinkle filler is simple, quick, comfortable and convenient with immediate visible results that last. More and more people are discovering that it is the natural choice for maintaining a more youthful appearance.

In this day and age, most of us are familiar with the importance of collagen. It’s what gives your young skin its full, supple appearance. When it breaks down, you may begin to see skin laxity and facial wrinkles. When the collagen goes away, it takes facial volume and elasticity with it leaving you with a face that may look older than how you feel inside.

If you aren’t ready to grow old gracefully, treatment with RADIESSE® wrinkle filler can bring back your own natural collagen and restore facial volume with results that may last a year or more.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      What is Radiesse?

RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler is an injectable filler that works by immediately restoring facial volume to smooth out the signs of aging. Once injected, it works with your body to stimulate the production of your own natural collagen for results that may last a year or more in many patients.

What makes Radiesse different from other dermal fillers?

RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler has the unique ability to both immediately restore lost volume and stimulate your body to produce its own natural collagen for long-lasting results.

      How does Radiesse work?

Once injected, RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler does exactly as it says: it fills or replenishes volume lost over time for a more refreshed looking you. Then it goes to work by stimulating your body to produce its own natural collagen. Over time, your body absorbs the product and leaves behind only your own natural collagen for long-lasting results.

How soon will I see results with Radiesse and how long will they last?

Instantly! Immediately upon injection, RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler restores volume to smooth out the signs of aging. Not only does RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler provide immediate correction, the natural, beautiful results may last a year or more in many patients.

      Does it hurt?

RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler is FDA approved to mix with lidocaine (an anesthetic). That means you can experience a more comfortable wrinkle treatment. In fact, in a clinical study, using RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler mixed with lidocaine significantly reduced pain in 90% of patients treated.

      What is Radiesse made of?

RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler is made of tiny calcium-based microspheres which are suspended in a natural, water-based gel. These calcium based microspheres are similar to minerals that are found naturally in your body so allergy testing is not required. Over time, your body absorbs these tiny microspheres and the gel and leaves behind only your own natural collagen.

      Is it safe?

RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler is FDA approved, and has undergone rigorous testing in clinical studies to prove its safety. As with all filler treatments, patients may experience redness, bruising, swelling or other local side effects. Most side effects of treatment resolve within a few days. More rare side effects may include swelling that lasts longer, unevenness or firmness in the area injected, and as with any injection, there may be a risk of infection.

      Are there any side effects?

Just like any injection, you may experience mild irritation, swelling, itching, redness, bruising or tenderness at the injection site. These typically resolve on their own. If any of these side effects persist, contact your healthcare provider immediately.

How long is the recovery time?

There is very little to no down-time involved in a RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler procedure. In fact, most patients return to their normal, daily activities right after their visit. Every patient is unique, so be sure to discuss your plans with a healthcare provider.

How soon can I return to normal activities?

Some patients experience swelling or redness after injection which usually subsides soon after treatment. Some return to work immediately after treatment. As Radiesse is applied by injection you may experience a slight bruise, but nothing that a little concealer can't hide.
